Release checksums.
Verify what you downloaded
The SHA-256 checksum of every published build, rendered live from the release catalog: when a release is published, this page already lists it.
How to verify
Compute the checksum of the file you downloaded and compare it with the value listed below. On macOS and Linux:
shasum -a 256 <downloaded-file> On Windows (PowerShell):
Get-FileHash <downloaded-file> -Algorithm SHA256 To check many files at once, save checksums.txt next to your downloads and run shasum -a 256 -c checksums.txt. The machine-readable
catalog, including the offline signatures the installer verifies, is at /api/releases.
